"Old Men"

When men get old they want to
sit and doze,
Close their eyes and dream and stare
As piano music plays -
Cziffra, Hyman, Gottschalk, Wild -
Preferring virtuosos -
And if a cat lies on their chest
The day has been worthwhile -
When sleep comes over them it will
Last barely several minutes -
Several times a sit -
It leaves a feeling in the soul -
Perhaps a happiness -
