Beauty is the Beguile in the Eye of the Beholder

Mundane as everyday fare,
tempered with a frown,
you fell for an (unspoken) unimplied
depth in the blink of her illusive eyes.
Finding philosophy in an empty page!

The Kit and Caboodle of Collective Silence

                                Unrest assured,
                                                         for
                                             when it is      your son
who came home in a casket
                         or your daughter who     didn’t,
                the dreams of your fathers
                              or motherland they    cremate -
                  the monsters you created
                                                             in    apathy or dread

will move out     from your closet and
                                                          into    your head…..
