You are kind and funny. Which is more
Important? Men are fickle. So is love.
But I believe the sun will never set,
Nor we be any less than we are now.
I told you that I love you and I'm gay.
Uncoveting, I asked to be your friend.
Tonight you phoned and asked are we in love.
I said yes, emphatically.
And then went back to sleep.
