And there I was--
left thinking about her perfume, about
the roundness of her sashaying hips, about
her smile and how her touch
might feel.
But there also were the coworkers--
the ones who jabber on about which
actresses are hot, which female customers
have nice figures, what girls they picked
up last night--
And they
don't want to hear
that I like them too, that
I would rather date the ladies
than hook up
with one of them.
So my crushes must be silent ones, my
nights unmentioned unless spent alone--and all
because I'm not
a man.
