BUYER BEWARE

Customers
for life,
we should be alert–
eyes out
for imitations,
shoddy workmanship.

Instead,
we sell
the merchandise
to ourselves–
offer free trials,
no money down.

We play
hunches,
follow fads and
hunt bargains.
Most dangerous of all,
sometimes we fall
in love.
