Geoffrey R. Andrews, born in Liverpool, lives on the south coast of England close to the Royal Navy port of Portsmouth, Hampshire. He is a manager with a firm located in the Southampton area.

Gary Blankenship, is a retired manager who dabbles in poetry and publishing. He is CEO of Santiam Publishing and publishes the online journals, MindFire Renewed and FireWeed, both at www.mindfirerenew.com. Graham Burchell was born in 1950 in Canterbury, England. In 1976 he graduated from the University of Sussex and embarked on a teaching career that would take him to various places around the world including Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Tenerife, Mexico, France and Chile. His first children�s fantasy novel �Wumpleberries and Gronglenuts� was published in 2003, and the sequel, �The Ice Spells of Krollinad� was published in 2005. He is the winner of the 2005 Chapter One Promotions Open Poetry Competition and the runner up in the 2005 �Into Africa� International Poetry Competition judged by Roger McGough. He was also given an 'honorable mention' in the Momaya Press Short Story Competition. His poetry has appeared or is due to appear in a number of both print and online literary magazines. Jeffrey Calhoun is a Biology major at The University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He has been an avid reader of literature for the vast majority of his life. He is intrigued with the ability of well-crafted poetry to evoke emotion and provoke thinking. Jim Doss, co-editor of Loch Raven Review, was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. His work has appeared in Poetry East, Virginia Literary Review, Poems Niedergasse, and other publications. Michaela A. Gabriel (*1971) lives in Vienna, Austria, where she assists adults in acquiring computer and English skills, and gets together with the muse as often as possible. She has been published in English, German, Italian, and Polish, both online and in print. Her first chapbook, "apples for adam", was published by FootHills Publishing earlier this year. Christopher T. George, co-editor of Loch Raven Review, was born in Liverpool, England in 1948, and has lived in the Baltimore, Maryland, area since 1968. He and his wife Donna live near the Johns Hopkins University campus.  Besides being a poet and nonfiction writer with works published on both sides of the Atlantic, Chris is editor of Desert Moon Review http://www.desertmoonreview.com.  He is a published historian and a recognized authority on the War of 1812 and Jack the Ripper.  Chris�s book, The Scots in Maryland and a History of the St. Andrew�s Society of Baltimore, 1806�2006, will be published by the St. Andrew�s Society in 2006.  Email: [email protected]

Thomas Jardine lives in Texas now but is from Baltimore, Maryland. He spent a number of years in his youth exploring the Loch Raven Reservoir. The other part of his life was spent in Fells Point, the historic waterfront community downtown, before it was a historical site, back in the old bohemian days. Morgan Lafay lives near Richmond, Virginia, and has been writing for personal enjoyment for a number of years. Her writing is influenced by family, friends, spontaneous instances, past memories, and people in general. Charles Levenstein, Boston, Massachusetts, is a contributing editor of Niederngasse Poetry, a Zurich-based ezine. Rickey McGhee lives in New Orleans, LA and is sixteen years old. This is his first publication in poetry, besides his selection in the The Teacher's Selection: Anthology of Fifth Grade Poetry in 1999. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Rickey has temporarily relocated to Carson, California where he resides with family and continues to write. Nessa O�Mahony was born in Dublin. Her poetry has appeared in a number of Irish, UK, and North American periodicals, has been translated into several European languages, and has been broadcast by RT� radio. She won the National Women�s Poetry Competition in 1997 and was shortlisted for the Patrick Kavanagh Prize and Hennessy Literature Awards. Her first poetry collection, �Bar Talk�, was published by iTaLiCs Press in 1999. Her second, �Trapping a Ghost�, was published by bluechrome publishing in Spring 2005. She was awarded an Irish Arts Council literature bursary in 2004, and an Arts Council travel award and a residency at the Djerassi Resident Artists� Program, Woodside, California, in 2005. Max Prum was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and now lives in Ireland where he is in the third year of an undergraduate degree in Film Studies and English Literature at Trinity College Dublin. Lori Romero is a published poet and fiction writer, and served as Artistic Director of Friends & Artists Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles.  She currently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Ms. Romero�s first chapbook, Wall to Wall, was recently published by Finishing Line Press.  Her short story, Strange Saints, was a semifinalist in the Sherwood Anderson Fiction Award and her short screenplay is a finalist in the Manhattan Short Film Festival.  Her poetry and fiction have been published in journals and anthologies which include Copper Nickel, flashquake, Citizen 32, Quercus Review, Plum Biscuit, Mystic River Review, Edgar Literary Magazine, Poetry Motel, Mobius, Pebble Lake Review, and Branches.

Don Schaeffer was born in the Bronx, N.Y. in 1940. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from City University of New York (1975). Jennifer VanBuren has degrees and a former career in science, education and instructional technology.  She now does volunteer work while raising my two children. She also works many hours writing and studying poetry, manipulating digital photography, and building her online journal, Mannequin Envy. As a worship associate at a liberal church, she often prepares and delivers Sunday services. Recently, she led their first poetry service, which was a big success.

Joyce Wakefield's poetry has been published by the Individual Artists of Oklahoma, ZuZu's Petals, Moondance.org, and several other poetry journals and e-zines. Peter Waring, Larne, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland, born in Belfast and educated Q.U.B., worked as an art teacher and nurseryman before he retired. Teresa White was born and raised in Seattle, Teresa now lives in eastern Washington with her husband. Alan Wickes was born and raised in rural Northumberland, then studied History of Art and English at Manchester and The Open University.  He contributes regularly to Sonnet Central, an on line poetry workshop dedicated the development of the Sonnet form. He has had work accepted by Znine, a literary magazine run by the the English Department of the University of Texas at Arlington.  Recently his work has appeared in Aesthetica, a York based Arts magazine.  His sonnet, Barcelona, won best sonnet in Ware Poets national
